Dine Out for Mom takes an army of volunteers!  Want to help?

Office Volunteers: Come help in the office! We need office volunteers: Sept 30th, Oct 2, 3, 15, 16, 17, 21, 23, 28, 29, and 30. Click on the link below for more details and see what is convenient for you.

Restaurant Representative:  We need volunteers to deliver marketing materials to our Restaurant Partners. Signing up for one area commits you to TWO deliveries. The first delivery will be done Oct. 2-5 and the second will be done Oct. 21-22.
Poster Hangers:  Select an area of town to canvas and hang up posters!  You will be given 20 posters to canvas the area you select on our sign-up.  This is a great opportunity for students to earn hours.
Yard Signs: We will have 650 yard signs throughout the Upstate this year.  What a great way to remind your neighbors about Dine Out for Mom!  You can choose to simply put a sign in your yard, or to be a Yard Sign Team Captain.

Post on Social Media:  Volunteer to help spread the word about Dine Out for Mom by sharing posts on your personal social media and Neighborhood Facebook/IG.  Sign-up for your Neighborhood and we will send you posts to share.

Event Day Volunteers:

Volunteers are needed the day of DOFM to go to restaurants to thank patrons and pass out information about our raffle.  We need volunteers for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Use the buttons below for more information:

Breakfast:  7:00am-10:00am

Lunch:  11:30am-2:00pm

Dinner:  5:30pm-8:00pm

Picking Up Marketing Materials

We need volunteers to collect the leftover DOFM marketing materials Friday, Oct 25th-Monday, Oct 28th. Items will need to be dropped off at the LTBM office on Monday, Oct 28th. Please check the link for more information and to find a location that is convenient for you.

More details about event day volunteers….

  • Day of Spread the Word Volunteers:  October 24, 2024.
  • 3  shifts available: Shift 1: Breakfast 7:00-10:00,  Shift 2: Lunch 11:30-2:00,  and Shift 3: Dinner 5:30-8:00
  • Responsibilities include:
  1. View an on-line volunteer training video & take a quick quiz the week of DOFM (just to make sure you understand what you are responsible for).  This will be emailed to you before the event.
  2. Stop by the LTBM office on Wednesday, October 23, between 11:30AM and 3:00PM to pick up the supplies you will need for the next day.
  3. Thank people for Dining Out For Mom & give them an info card about our raffle!
  4. Return designated items to LTBM office on the Monday or Tuesday (Oct 28 or Oct 29) following DOFM.
