We are happy that you were on our Vendor wait list and that we now have a spot for you (please complete the form below).
Let There Be Mom’s Spring Market – Stop, Shop & Stroll is a fundraiser that is work of our Student Ambassadors, 23 driven, compassionate, & dedicated local high school juniors & seniors. Together, we will be able to preserve the legacies of Upstate moms & dads who are battling life threatening illnesses.
To become a vendor, we ask that you make a $60 donation to Let There Be Mom & donate one item to be used in our raffle. We have 70+ vendors registered for the event. We limited the number of like vendors (no one wants to attend a market where half the vendors all sell dog treats, or candles, or soaps, or you name it). Variety is the key. (We will reach out to you regarding a drop-off time that you can bring your raffle item to our office prior to the market so that we can arrange items in baskets).
Historically, our events have been very well attended; we can’t wait to see how God blesses the efforts of our Student Ambassadors. The location of the market, being on Main Street in Simpsonville, should garner a lot of attention in and of itself. That said, we have already secured a lot of media for the event including radio, television, newspaper, & social media promos. We are also planning to do some road signs & posters.
As a vendor we know it is important to you to have an easy load in, load out. Parking will be in close proximity to your booth; we will have lots of volunteers on hand to help the process go smoothly.
You will notice your Retail License number is not a required element of this form. Please do your own research and choose what applies to you.(* see below)
Please reach out if you have any questions.
*License Requirements:
SC Department of Revenue requires that anyone selling at more than 4 vendor markets and/or sells in other ways (online, in stores, etc) per year has a license. You can find more information about the type of license options here: https://dor.sc.gov/event-guide (look under Licenses)
City of Simpsonville requires a special event vendor license ($25); we tried to work with the city on this, but to no avail. Only exceptions are 501 (c)3 organizations and informational booths (ie those not selling a product at the event). This can be obtained on their website or at City Hall. (do not apply for this until you have been notified that you are a vendor in this market)
