Dine Out for Mom takes an army of volunteers!  Want to help?

Office Volunteers: We need volunteers Monday, Sept 28th, Wednesday, Sept. 30th, Thursday, Oct 1st, Tuesday, Oct 13th, Wednesday, Oct 14th, Thursday, Oct 15th, Monday, Oct 19th, Tuesday, Oct 20th, Wednesday, Oct 21st, Monday, Oct 26th Tuesday, Oct 27th and Wednesday, Oct 28th.  Click on the link below for more details and see what is convenient for you.

 

Restaurant Representative:  We need volunteers to deliver marketing materials to our Restaurant Partners. Signing up for one area commits you to two deliveries. The first delivery will be delivered Sept. 30-Oct. 3rd and the second can be done Oct. 19-20th.

Poster Hangers:  Select an area of town to canvas and hang up posters. For students, posters will be delivered to your school’s front office on Sept. 29th. Please note in the sign up that you are a student and the school you attend. Posters need to be hung by Oct. 3rd.  You will be given 20 posters to hang up in your assigned area.  **Great opportunity for students.

Yard Signs: We will have 750 yard signs throughout the Upstate this year. What a great way to remind your neighbors about Dine Out for Mom! Pick up signs on Wednesday, September 30 or Thursday, October 1st from 11am-3pm. The LTBM office is closed Friday.

Post on Social Media: Dine Out for Mom is October 22nd and we would love your help promoting our event. We are asking volunteers to post about Dine Out for Mom with links to the Let There Be Mom website the week before the event (Oct. 15th), the day before the event (Oct. 21st) and the day of the event (Oct. 22nd). We will send a sample message to those who sign up. 

Picking Up Marketing Materials: We need volunteers to collect the leftover DOFM marketing materials Friday, Oct 23rd – Monday, Oct 26th. Items will need to be dropped off at the LTBM office on Monday, Oct 26th. Please check the link for more information and to find a location that is convenient for you. 

Event Day Volunteers:

Volunteers are needed on the day of DOFM to go to restaurants to thank patrons and pass out raffle information. We need volunteers for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Go to the following links for more information:

Breakfast:  7:00am-10:00am

Lunch:  11:30am-2:00pm

Dinner:  5:30pm-8:00pm

More details about event day volunteers….

  • Day of Spread the Word Volunteers:  October 22, 2026.
  • 3  shifts available: Shift 1: Breakfast 7:00-10:00,  Shift 2: Lunch 11:30-2:00,  and Shift 3: Dinner 5:30-8:00
  • Responsibilities include:
  1. View an on-line volunteer training video the week of DOFM (just to make sure you understand what you are responsible for).  This will be emailed to you before the event.
  2. Stop by the LTBM office on Wednesday, October 21, between 11:30AM and 3:00PM to pick up the supplies you will need for the next day.
  3. Thank people for Dining Out For Mom & give them an info card about our raffle!
  4. Return designated items to LTBM office on the Monday or Tuesday (Oct 26 or Oct 27) following DOFM.
